Wood Green Common

We’ve worked closely with local communities to create a safe, secure, and inclusive space for everyone to be active. Located within the heart of Wood Green Common, this floodlit PlayZone features a durable Tarmacadam surface (hard-court) suitable for a wide range of sports and activities including:

• Football
• Basketball
• Netball
• General fitness and recreational play

The facility is open 7 days a week, from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and is free to use. You can book online or contact Haringey Active Wellbeing at Get.Active@haringey.gov.uk, who operate and manage the site.

Floodlighting is installed to Football Foundation standards, allowing safe evening use. 

This PlayZone was funded by the Haringey Council, Premier League, The FA, and the Government’s Football Foundation, with the aim of bringing communities together through football and a wide range of sports and physical activities.
